All of us, students as well as instructors, just like the golf pros, can let small flaws creep into there throw. Here is what happened to old Doc.
I have not having any decent rolls while in AC. The last day I was playing with Mr. Pip, him as SR 1 and me at 2. He was struggling a little and I heard him say under his breath "I really do need to throw softer and make sure I am extending my arm out so the dice will come out with a good back spin on axis." Exactly as we teach it in the class.
I thought to myself--that is exactly what I am doing. The next time the dice came to me I put this into my throw--and Doc was back. Had a couple of rolls--not monsters--but money makers none the less. I might add that he did as well.
He probably doesn't even remember making this comment.
We can all learn.
