Sandtrap finally came home last week, after 9 weeks in sub-acute rehab, learning to walk, eat, and drink. He is walking very slowly, and painfully, with a cane. Three weeks ago, he was finally put on a regular diet as well as regular fluids, so the "peg" (feeding tube) could be removed. Oh happy day! My parakeet loves having him home, so he can nibble on his mustache and beard. If Sandtrap's pain decreases enough to sit in a car for 2 1/2 hours, we will try to get to AC in April. Thank you for all your prayers. Once again, you have helped get him through major medical problems.

Great and he has a private nurse to continue to help him with his recovery.
