Just went for a short trip to Vegas and spent three days at the tables. I always learn a lot when the money is on the table. I played five dollar, ten dollar and twenty five dollar tables depending on what was open and felt good. I think at my stage of the game it is more about getting to really feel and see the dice in front of all the eyes. I always start out a little uncomfortable but have really been working more on that. I started out down the first day and watched how tough I was on myself. It wasn't pretty. I brushed myself off and went back the next day and slowed everything down. I just stood at the 5 dollar table and threw until I could really feel the dice coming out of my fingers. I had a couple of good rolls in the low twenties and then I hit the 5 point fire bet. I just couldn't make the four. It was a good feeling and it brought me back and then some. By the third day I was again having difficulty with my throw. Not much happened for me day three but thanks to a couple of rolls from some strangers, I ended up close to even for the trip. I did take advantage of some tickets to the National Rodeo Finals and a couple of nice comped meals for my wife and I and a nice room to boot. I just have to get used to the variance and hang in there. I handle the ups better than the downs. Go figure. Happy holidays to all of you and good rolling.

Great report. Remember this GTC thing is not a destination but journey where we are learning all the time. Have seen your throw and it is excellent. As you illustrate with an adequate bankroll you will get through the ups and downs just like the casino. You do have a small advantage so in the long run you will do good. Trust your throw. You broke even at the tables and had some good comps to boot--inn our book you were a winner.

As Doc said this is a journey. Not every hand is a money maker but over the long haul we do finish on the positive side if we follow proper betting procedures.

Proper betting, 5-counting everyone and come betting helps minimizes our losses until we have that long hand which gives us the profit.

And another part of this journey is how the dice feel in our hand. Some day's they feel like bricks and other days they just feel like an extension of our fingers. They just seem to flow off of our finger tips when they fly into the air. When this happens it is time to send it in and make the money.
