This happened so suddenly. Just 2 weeks ago everybody was exited about the new partnership and the high end hotel going in where the old Barbary Coast was. It may be of alleged Russian mob ties to Gansevoort.

BTW, take a look at this picture, when was the Las Vegas Strip so devoid of traffic at the corner of Las Vegas Bl. and Flamingo :D

I was just there and it does not look like that . It is vary busy getting threw the walk way that is there now . But it looks like they are getting ready to pour concrete for the next bridge .
Just before I got there I heard there was a lot of excitement . The pit boss asked if I was here for it . Which got my attention . I thought it was about a long roll. ( by a GTCer ) But it turned out it was a shooting over a 30.00 cover charge .
Glad I missed it .
