POM: Fantastic rolls that never would be posted

That's the kind of post that needs more details. I'm sitting here, hunched down like a witch, rubbing my hands together and dieing to know more.
Were you in on the action? Was the table full? Did you collect on any hardways? Come on, give us more! :D :P

The more will have to come from the shooters themselves. They are very selective who they shoot with and I have only seen this shooter post 2 or 3 times on this forum. I only know of this roll from a very good friend who was on the roll for the last 30 minutes and they only jumped in to block and keep someone from buying in.

Why wouldn't this roll be posted? You just have to verify it and send it to Frank. So why wouldn't the total of the roll be posted? I don't get the implcation of the title of the post?

One has to observe the roll in order to have it listed by Frank. Clark only heard about it from a friend, and therefore, cannot verify it himself. Clark also did not say how many rolls there were, and may not know.

Good points Goddess. So this roll could be a complete and utter exaggeration as it made the rounds from whoever witnessed it to Clark. But I just caught a whif of sarcasm in the headline. Maybe I am wrong here.

You are definately wrong cube man. I have rolled with these people at more than one gambling destination. I have confirmed that they are all GTC trained. The person who told me this routinely calls me about the weekend when I am not there.

These shooters bet large from the get go. I have seen them drop as muck as $7000 in 15 minutes time. I have witnessed many 30 plus rolls.
They tip shooters generously when you make repeaters. They try to only play in casinos that offer better than 2 -3-4 times odds. I was genunily supprised that this happened on a $10 table. Usually they only play $25 tables.

I only posted this because of the enormous amounts of money won. I would never have posted this if I thought it was a fabrication.

One of the people routinely makes over $100,000 profit each year. This of course was an annomally. The usual weekend goes somethin like this lose several thousand win several thousand. Usually not more than a $25000 swing. At $100,000 per year that is just under $10,000 per month profit.

These people don't care about records. I know that several of them don't even have subscriptions to this site anymore. They simply just want to win money. I don't know if all of them make profits for the year. I would think that they do because of their GTC training. They only 5 count people whom they do not know or people whose tosses are not deemed to be as good as theirs. For the most part they 5 count me. I am not real comfortable playing on a $25 table. My usual bet is a doey don't with a 12 on the come out so my only loss there is $1. Then I take a 6 or an 8 not both. Once I get 2 hits I start pressing at $6. Then I spread out to other numbers. Therefore I don't make as much or lose as much. Remember these people play every weekend and many sessions. I can't play with them that much and I can't afford the violent swings in the bankroll.

I should also add that they don't want "fleas" as they call them flocking to the table trying to make money on their rolls. That is why they don't post their rolls nor is it very public where they are going to play.

I guess it would be extremely uncool of you disclose info that these players are not volunteering themselves. I appreciate that you spoke only about what you do with your bankroll when playing with them and that no identifiers (physical traits and names) were mentioned. If the number of rolls is unknown or of little importance, then so be it.
It really is the winning that counts, after all.

If you had been in on the action, I would have loved to know whether the table was full or not (a full table with a good shooter invariably starts to pile up on hardways, even when they're not hitting!!), whether you had used any come bets, whether any parlayed bets had been collected... you know, the usual fun details and things of the sort.
But hey, that was good enough so I'm not complaining and keep reports coming! :D

You definitely can't assume that the money is being made by people with the most ribbons on their chests. Yours is not the first story I've heard like that. After reading Skinny's stuff about counting your rolls, etc., I've adopted the 'give a hoot' attitude about getting recognition for roll numbers and such. I keep forgetting I'm playing this game to make money, not to impress anyone. Wish I could have seen that roll though!

Okay,here are the details,I was the shooter and this was a very special roll.
There were about 16 of us that got together in the deep south. There were some controlled shooters ,some friends of control shooters and some none believers.

Friday and Saturday was brutal and almost makes one give up craps.

Sunday morning around 8.25 am the dice came to me. I went $90 inside;took 30 odds on the $10 pass line bet and started shooting . Every time a number hit I collected and regressed to a $15 bet.Goal was to survive the rest of the trip.If number hit again I would do a one unit press.

At the 35 minute mark of the roll a friend of mine joined us at the table.At the 40 minute mark the pit boss asked me to hit the back wall.This shook me up so I brought my bets down and went $540 across.[ at this time I had $480 on the six] .At the one hour mark the table was surrounded by onlookers two deep. Throughout the casino there was a buzz that something special was going on.At the 1 hr 10 minute mark all the $1000 and $500 chips were in the player racks and more chips had to be brought in.At the 1 hr 20 minute mark I was getting tired and losing focus on my throwing spot and swing tempo .I finally seven ed out at the 1 hr 42 minute mark.

I rolled 75 plus numbers and hit the six 20 plus times. Never hit the 10.Made 12-15 passes and hit the fire bet for 5 numbers. No sevens were rolled on the come out and very few wasted rolls on craps numbers..Initial part of the roll had its share of hard ways;the latter part of the roll had very few hard ways however I did hop the hard ways twice on the come out and hit it.

The house lost $200,000 plus.

My friend, who has played every week for the last 30 years, for the first time reached table max on four numbers even though he joined the roll at the 35 minute mark and was still the beneficiary of 29 repeaters.[My guess is that this was a 50 plus repeater roll] . Two players reached table max on the number 6..

Regressing my bets initially and when the pit boss got to me hurt getting the max juice out of the roll but what the heck it was a lot of fun.

I used a hardway set,shot low because of table bounce,dropped the dice near the dont pass area and tried to keep the dice between the 9-13 firebet numbers.

Several players helped me reconstruct the roll.
