Millions of Americans listened to his programs which were broadcast over 1,200 radio stations nationwide.
The following commentary was broadcast 47 years ago.... April 3, 1965.

Also, what follows in the next 10 seconds from 2:05 to 2:14 is very appropriate given the latest Mega Millions jackpot. $1.5 billion was spent on lottery tickets in 42 states in an attempt to win the $640 million largest jackpot of all time. 3 tickets out of the 1.5 billion sold shared in the jackpot. 16,352,615 tickets held by others settled for a lesser prize and 1,483,647,382 tickets received nothing at all.
