I am a retired Denver Police Sergeant. This message was sent to me and apparently this is going around to the officers and families of police departments in the state. Add this to everything else that is happening against our police departments. This society does not have any idea what they are doing to their police officers in this nation and what they are doing to them and their commitment to protect. The police officers of this nation needs to know that they are backed up by the people and if they don’t, believe me, they will stop doing police work and stop protecting the people that are waging war against them. The public that appreciate the police better start standing up and saying no more and start to defend the officers when they have to use force to combat force against them and to combat crime. The officers will not jeopardize their lives and their families if they know that what they have to do sometimes is going to be criticized, threatened, affect them the rest of their lives, be prosecuted, and they are hanged in the press and even by the elected people who criticize them publicly. No one is holding the criminal and the people accountable for what they are doing and their fighting and running from the police, shooting at and killing them, having complete disrespect for the law, and are not getting any respect or help from the public. It is going to backfire and people will, at the least, see all types of crimes start to rise all over or go out of control or worse, this country go down in flames. The police and law enforcement holds that thin line between a civilized nation and complete anarchy. People better wake up. These words and witness statements are being made by many witnesses and police officers. This is what is going around and similar things are going around in all this nations Police Departments and officers.

Read the 3rd paragraph. Is no one going after these guys or what. I am furious with the way things are going. Is no one going after anyone. I have seen none of this mentioned on the news, but it could have been. It needs to be addressed. And all of the suspects need to be dealt with.

4 Denver Police officers injured, 1 critically
FYI: The Rest of The Story.
I spoke with an eye witness to the parade and later, the horrific accident.
He said the parade of black students yelled profanity at the police, jumped on the tops of parked cars, breaking windows and more while the students were police escorted from and back to their east Denver school. People along the parade route were stopped waiting in traffic lanes. Bystanders and business people viewing the demonstration expressed disgust with the unruly, noisy demonstrators; many conveyed support to the police. No arrests made.

Accident Scene: The black Mercedes Benz car driver (a black man) had been blowing his car horn, yelling when suddenly his car took off with a roar striking vehicles and running into the escorting police officers; dragging one officer under the car for several yards before stopping. The officer did not appear to be alive...he displayed broken bones and blood over his body.
Then black demonstrating students quickly responded to that officer laughing, yelling profanities, taking pictures of him lying injured, bloody, unconscious on the street. After which, black students interlocked their arms forming a human ring preventing arriving officers from contacting to help the severely injured officer. (The first arriving officer had to stop his vehicle and wait for additional officers to arrive at the scene before he could go and assist the injured.) The black students continued to laugh screaming profanities at the injured officers laying about the scene while the emergency response crew made the injured officers ready for removal to the hospital.

Later, the first arriving officer said he debated if he should have driven through the human blockage to assist the officer risking the media response that has happened across the US. The first officer said he felt terrible he sat at the accident scene doing nothing waiting for help while his fellow officer was in severe pain.
Due to the accident, one bicycle officer had his bike wrapped around his body causing emergency responders to cut off the officer's outer clothes to remove the bike.
The black driver who caused the crash said he had an emergency medical condition; the accident was not his fault. Investigation has started...

i AGREE THAT IT SEEMS THAT IT IS NOT GETTING BETTER . It seems that some need more training which costs .I wonder what happened to the old warning shot and I realize that it some situations that is not good .
My son years ago was stopped 2 times with Guns drawn .Once just around the corner from were we live . The other was on high way comeing home from camping trip . The last one was with multiple cops surrounding them with rifles and pistes drawn . The out come was good due to an off duty office that stoped and informed the officers what was going on .THANK GOD or you may say a bigger THANK YOU to that officer for if he had not stopped the boys may have been arrested for nothing that they did . The boys did go to court and the OTHER guy was found guilty .
The officers that stoped my son was vary upset that they were taken for a ride . Which after chasing after the other guy they arrested him in front of the boys .They told him that he needed to ID the boys .
Thank God that they believed the story from the other officer .
